Hey Padres fans!  I know most of you are like myself and are fully entrenched in football season, but the baseball off season is about to get very interesting.  The Padres signed Mark Kotsay to a deal on Tuesday, a move that should strengthen the bench.  I know that many of you have questions about the direction of this team, as do I.  Over the next few months we at the Friarhood will be engaging in discussions about roster moves, minor league players, and how the 2012 team will perform.
