Fort Wayne, led by the hot bat of Austin Allen and an excellent performance from Luis Tejada, once again dominated. The Storm managed a 2-0 shutout victory while both the Chihuahuas and the Missions suffered poor pitching performances in their respective losses.

Notes: The TinCaps continue to impress with another beat down of the South Bend Cubs to improve their record to 7-3. Fort Wayne received yet another strong pitching performance from Enyel De Los Santos who’s 4 scoreless innings lowered his ERA to 2.35. Yet again, Austin Allen had a multi-hit game giving him 7 such games over his first 9 games of the season. Despite having 2 hits in each of his last 3 games, Allen’s average has steadily dropped as he’s now hitting .636 with a ridiculous 1.506 OPS.
