Notes: Travis Buck was the offensive hero in this one. Buck drove in the only 2 runs in this game with 2 singles. Jason Lane pitched a gem with 6 scoreless innings. Lane was pounding the strike zone in this game; he threw 50 of his 69 pitches for strikes. Interestingly enough, however, Lane didn’t record a single strikeout over his 6 innings pitched.

Kyle Gaedele came to play in his first start; he went 2-4 and started the scoring off with a 2-run home run in the first inning.

Notes: The Storm won a shootout due to the hot bats of Alberth Martinez and Gabriel Quintana. Martinez now has 6 hits and he has hit safely in all 3 Storm games this season. The Storm used a 4 run 2 out rally in the 8th inning to win this game, and Trevor Gott recorded the save after allowing an unearned run.
