Zach Eflin turned in the best performance of his young career as the TinCaps beat the Dragons 5-3. Robert Kral was an offensive beast for the second night in a row as the Storm steamroll the Quakes. The Missions split a double header as Reymond Fuentes, Kalian Sams, and Adam Buschini go yard. Tim Stauffer shut the Round Rock Express down in Tucson’s 6-1 victory.

James Darnell continues to slump; with his 0-4 performance he his hitless over his last 3 games and is just 1-20 over his last 5 games.

Notes: Zach Eflin enjoyed a career night; not only did he throw the first quality start of his career, but he also earned his first professional win. This was also his first 2013 start in which he did not allow a walk. While he hasn’t been dominant to start of this year, hopefully this start is a sign of things to come. Dane Phillips continues to swing the bat well; following his 3-hit game his average stands at .310 with 3 home runs and 9 RBI on the year.
