Walker Weickel – SP: 5.2 IP, 12 H, 9ER, 2BB, 5K, 2 HR Allowed
Notes: Coming into this game, Walker Weickel had thrown 2 consecutive quality starts, and he looked to be reversing a poor start to the year. Needless to say, he couldn’t keep the positive trend going as he got lit up tonight. The only positive from his start is that he struck out a season high 5 batters, but that’s it. Fernando Perez is now on an 8-game hitting streak with 9 RBI’s over his last 7 games. Perez is now hitting .343 with 3 home runs and 22 RBI’s.
