The Chihuahuas were the only minor league team unable to secure a victory last night. The Missions won both games of their double header while the Storm lit up the scoreboard with 11 runs during their victory.

Notes: Alex Dickerson continues to swing a hot bat. Dickerson is hitting .313 over his first 43 games this season. Tommy Medica has been struggling at the plate; over his last 10 games, Medica is hitting just .156, which has brought his average from .269 to .253. Yonder Alonso only has 1 hit over 12 AB’s with El Paso during his rehab stint, but he has 6 walks and just 1 one strikeout over that time.

Notes: Trea Turner has been absolutely outstanding as a member of the Missions. Turner is hitting .405 over his last 10 games and is hitting .341 over 173 AB’s with San Antonio. On the contrary, Hunter Renfroe hasn’t been nearly as spectacular this season; Renfroe is hitting just .223 over 166 AB’s with the Missions. Renfroe only has 2 home runs and 16 RBI’s over that span. Justin Hancock has been enjoying a very productive season so far. Hancock is 5-1 with a 2.02 ERA over his first 10 starts and 58 innings pitched.

Notes: Jose Rondon and Fernando Perez both fell just a double shy of the cycle. Last night was easily Rondon’s most productive night of the season; he entered the game with 1 home run and 10 RBI’s and exited the game with 3 home runs and 15 RBI’s. Zech Lemond tossed his 3rd straight quality start; he’s 3-2 with a 3.75 ERA over his last 10 starts.
