El Paso Chihuahuas 7, Sacramento River Cats 4
Rico Noel – CF: 1-4, RBI, K
Reymond Fuentes – LF: 1-3, 2RBI, BB, Run scored
Tommy Medica – 1B: 1-4, RBI, BB, Run scored
Kyle Blanks – DH: 2-4, HR(9), 3RBI, Run scored

Kevin Quackenbush – RP: 1.0 IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 0K (S, 6)
Notes: Kyle Blanks continues to tear it up in El Paso as he hit his 9th home run and drove in his 10th run of the year. Seeing as the Padres are inept offensively, Blanks could find himself being called up in short time. Kevin Quackenbush collected his 6th save and lowered his ERA to 1.26 over 13 appearances and 14.1 innings pitched with the Chihuahuas.
San Antonio Missions 6, Corpus Christi Hooks 4
Casey McElroy – 2B: 2-5, HR(1), RBI, Run scored

Rymer Liriano – CF: 3-5, 2 HR(5), 2RBI, K, 2 Runs scored

Johnny Barbato – RP: 1.0 IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 2K
Notes: Rymer Liriano has found his home run swing as he has smacked 4 home runs over his last 8 games. His career high in homeruns was set in 2011 with 12, but he has a good chance to surpass that this year. Johnny Barbato now has 5 straight scoreless appearances and a 2.77 ERA over his last 10 appearances.
Lake Elsinore Storm 3, Inland Empire 66ers 1
Alberth Martinez – CF: 3-4, BB
Luis Tejada – LF: 0-5, 2K

Bryan Rodriguez – SP: 5.1 IP, 7H, 1ER, 2BB, 1K
Notes: Despite going 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position, the Storm managed to pull off a 3-1 victory against the 66ers. Carlos Quentin, playing as the DH, got his first hit of the 2014 season tonight. Alberth Martinez broke a 2-game hitless streak and reached base 4 times to bring his average up to .307.
Fort Wayne TinCaps 2, South Bend Silver Hawks 16
Ronnie Richardson – RF: 0-2, BB, K, Run scored
Mallex Smith – CF: 2-3, RBI, Run scored
Fernando Perez – 3B: 0-4, K
Dustin Peterson – DH: 0-3, RBI, BB, K
Jake Bauers – 1B: 0-3, BB, K
Ryan Miller – C: 1-4, 2B
Bryan Verbitsky – SP: 2.0 IP, 8H, 7R, 6ER, 1BB, 0K, HR Allowed
Notes: Verbitsky endured his worst start of the year as he allowed 7 runs over 2 innings and didn’t strike out a single batter. The offense was only slightly better as they only managed 3 hits all game, while the D committed 3 errors. All in all, not the best game for the TinCaps.
