Daily Farm Round-Up: 5-8-13

It was a great night in the entire Padres organization. The San Diego Padres swept the Marlins with a 1-0 victory and every single affiliate that played tonight won. Off the strength of strong pitching performances from Thad Weber and Wilfredo Boscan, the T-Pads won 8-3. Lake Elsinore won both games of a doubleheader with the JetHawks today; Cory Spangenberg collected 2 hits in each game and swatted his 3rd home run of the year. Joe Ross pitched well early but faltered late for Fort Wayne. In the end, the TinCaps enjoyed a walk-off victory due to Brian Adams and Alberth Martinez.
