Notes: Despite only recording 4 hits and being 0-for-3 with RISP tonight, the Chihuahuas managed to pull out the 3-2 victory. After a rough initial outing with the Chihuahuas, Odrisamer Despaigne settled down nicely and tossed a quality start. Jace Peterson has hit safely in 8 of his last 10 games; Peterson is hitting .327 over 159 minor league AB’s this year.

Notes: Zach Eflin endured his worst start of the year tonight. Eflin tied his season high in runs allowed with 5, struck out a season low 1 batter, and only went 2.1 innings – his shortest outing of the year. Diego Goris has been on fire at the plate; Goris has now homered in back-to-back games and has recorded 3 hits in back-to-back games. Over his last 10 games, Goris is hitting .457 with 6 home runs and 13 RBI.

Jake Bauers extended his hitting streak to 9 by blasting a solo shot in the 4th inning. Bauers is hitting .357 over 115 AB’s with 4 home runs and 24 RBI’s. Dustin Peterson extended his hitting streak and RBI streak to 6 games with a single in the 1st.
