Daily Farm Round-Up: 7-20-14

The Missions were the only team on the farm to score more than 6 runs tonight. The lack of offense didn’t mind the TinCaps as they shutout the Kernels, and the Padres 2014 1st round pick, Trae Turner, stayed hot.

Hitting Prospect of the Day: Yeison Asencio

Pitching Prospect of the Day: Jeffery Enloe

El Paso Chihuahuas 0, Fresno Grizzlies 6

Reymond Fuentes – CF: 1-4, K

Jonathan Galvez – LF: 1-4, 2K

Notes: Taylor Lindsey made his first start for the Chihuahuas tonight. It’s worth noting that when both Jedd Gyorko and Lindsey were on the field at the same time, Lindsey was at 3rd base and Gyorko was at 2nd base. If Chase Headley is traded, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Gyorko stay and 2nd and Lindsey come up and play 3rd.
