Sorry for the absence in the Round-Up, I’ve been out of town for the past few days. Time to catch up! Matt Andriese and Max Fried both had outstanding starts for the T-Pads and the TinCaps, respectively. Lake Elsinore’s pitching staff was completely destroyed; they allowed 26 runs.

Notes: After going through a slight rough stretch, Matt Andriese has back-to-back dominant starts. Over his last two starts, Andriese has thrown: 14 IP, 11H, 4R, 2ER, 6K. He’s lowered his ERA to 3.98 over 40.2 innings with the T-Pads.

Notes: Donn Roach continues to be unable to string together good starts. Roach’s last start saw him throw 5 scoreless innings, but in this start he allowed 4 runs on 8 hits. On they year Roach owns a 3.91 ERA over 115 innings pitched. Reymond Fuentes recorded his first RBI since July 26th; he’s hitting .307 over 335 AB’s with San Antonio.

Notes: The Storm have allowed a whopping 36 runs over their past two games. Catcher Dane Phillips made his debut for the Storm and got a hit and scored a run. Lee Orr has found his groove at the plate; he is hitting .351 over his last 10 games and has driven in 9 run over that time. Orr has raised his average to .275 with 33 RBI’s.

Notes: Max Fried enjoyed his first scoreless start since June 29th. Fried rebounded nicely from a start that saw him allow 4 runs and 5 walks over 6 innings. Fried also broke a string of 4 starts in which he allowed a home run. On the year, Fried owns a 3.69 ERA over 90.1 innings with 85 strikeouts.

Notes: Erik Schoenrock continues to do well with Eugene. After 10 starts, Schoenrock is 2-3 with a 2.78 ERA over 45.1 innings pitched. He has 44 strikeouts and has only allowed 1 home run over that span. Hunter Renfroe has now been held hitless over each of his last 2 games. He’s gone 0-11 with 5 strikeouts in that time.

Notes: Dustin Peterson now has back-to-back 3 hit games. Peterson has raised his average to .310 over 113 AB’s with the AZL Padres. However, he has yet to hit a home run in that span. Jake Bauers recorded 3 RBI’s for the second time in 4 days. Bauers also is now on a 3 game multi-hit streak.
