Matt Wisler – SP: 5.2 IP, 6H, 1R, 0R, 4BB, K

Notes: Matt Wisler has now tossed 3 solid starts in a row. While the strikeout numbers weren’t there for him tonight, he didn’t allow an earned run and lowered his ERA 3.70 over 4 second half starts. Jake Goebbert continues to hit well with the Chihuahuas since he was sent down. Goebbert is hitting .333 over his last 10 games.

San Antonio Missions 1, Frisco RoughRiders 4

Cory Spangenberg – 2B: 0-4, 2K

Notes: Robbie Erlin made his first start with the Missions this year tonight. Erlin has made 2 rehab starts so far this year and has yet to allow an earned run in either of them. Offensively, the Missions struggled immensely as they only had 3 hits.

Lake Elsinore Storm 2, Lancaster JetHawks 6

Mallex Smith – DH: 0-5, 2K

Jose Rondon – SS: 1-4, K

Travis Jankowski – CF: 3-4, 2B, BB

Travis Jankowski got his first 3 hits with the Storm this season. Jankowski started the year in San Antonio before getting injured; he’s hitting .260 over 123 AB’s this year.

Ronald Herrera enjoyed his best start since June 12th; Herrera has struggled with the TinCaps this year, he’s 2-2 with a 4.42 ERA and 29 strikeouts over 10 starts and 55 innings pitched.

River Stevens – SS: 1-3, 2K

Zechariah Lemond – SP: 5.0 IP, 3H, 1ER, 0BB, 5K (L, 1-2)

Notes: Zechariah Lemond was the hard luck loser in tonight’s game. Lemond lowered his ERA to 3.86 over 18.2 innings pitched. Unfortunately, even if Lemond had tossed 5 perfect innings it wouldn’t have mattered as the Emeralds were 1-hit by the AquaSox.
