Daily Farm Round-Up: 9-11-13

The Missions lost to the Travelers 1-0 and their series is now tied 1-1. It was a tough hitting day for the Missions; Yeison Asencio had the best night at the plate and he was just 1-3 with a double. Eddie Bonine great performance lowered his ERA in the playoffs to 0.60.

Notes: If the first two games are any indication, this series is going to feature some fantastic pitching performances. Over the first 2 games of the series, the Missions and the Travelers have combined for 2 runs as they’ve each enjoyed 1-0 victories. The Missions were held to just 4 hits tonight; Eddie Bonine pitched his heart out, but he was the hard luck loser in tonight’s contest.
