Notes: The Missions take the lead in this best of 5 series 2-1 with a 12-inning win tonight. Donn Roach had the sinkerball working as he induced 11 groundouts, and only allowed 2 runs over 6+ quality innings. Relievers Leonel Campos and Jeremy McBryde both suffered blown saves, but the Missions persevered and won due to an error from the Hooks centerfielder. The Missions’ RISP numbers still were not ideal (2-for-8) but they scored 7 runs and that’s what counts.
