Daily Friar 10.10.12
On a night where two teams were on the verge of moving on to the next round fate stepped in and said, “not quite yet.” One game could be summed up with great pitching and defense, while the other would be just dumb luck. Both the A’s and Giants stay alive and push their respective series to game 4 with wins last night. The Giants took 10 innings to do so, and did it on an error by Scott Rolen of all people. The A’s were backed by a great pitching performance as they shut out the Tigers. Today is another big day as we have 4 games coming our way. Game 3 of the Yankees and Orioles, as well as game 3 of the Nationals and Cardinals. Then there is game 4 of last night’s matchups. Who knows, maybe one team will move on after tonight.
