Daily Friar 10.15.12
I’m not really sure what to write about up here today. There is absolutely nothing to talk about on the Padres front. No breaking news, and the AFL had no games yesterday, so literally nothing to talk about. Of course there is always something to talk about when it comes to the MLB. Yesterday was game 2 of the ALCS and game 1 of the NLCS. Both were pretty good games that featured some impressive pitching, especially in the ALCS game. There was some controversy as well in a missed call that only led to the Tigers getting a couple more runs. Still didn’t change the fact that the Yankees couldn’t score at all. You can read about both games below. Here are your links for today:

Cardinals at Giants Game 1
“Wondering himself if he had had ample time to prepare, Kelly — with an assist from a diving Daniel Descalso — closed the inning, setting off a stellar bullpen stand that ensured the Cardinals would exit Sunday with a 6-4 win to open the National League Championship Series.”
