In a perfect world the Tigers would have bear the Yankees last night en route to their first World Series appearance since 2006 where they lost to the Cardinals. As it stands there was some weather (as is expected this time of year) and game 4 has been pushed back till today. Game 4 of the Giants and Cardinals series is also tonight in which the Cardinals now have a 2-1 lead. If the Cardinals win and the Tigers win it will be a rematch of the said 2006 World Series. Obviously I don’t want the Yankees or the Giants to win at all, and the Cardinals just won it all last year. So I am really pulling for the Tigers in this one as they haven’t won it since 1984. Yes they beat the Padres that year, and sure it stings a bit, but out of all the teams I think the Tigers are the best option in my opinion.
