Daily Friar 10.9.12

Daily Friar Banner Rennick

Remember at the end of the offseason when I said that there would be slow days here at the Daily Friar? Well don’t look now, but we are in the middle of one. After much looking and digging, I found absolutely nothing Padre related to post today, minus one article. Doesn’t come as too much a surprise to me, but it still kind of stinks. In MLB news though the Division Series are hitting the mid point and some could come to a close today. The Reds and Giants play this afternoon and if the Reds win they will move on. The same can be said for the Tigers if they win tonight’s game against the A’s. The other two match ups are now tied 1 a piece after last nights games. All the recaps are below as well as the one Padre article.

“If there is one thing Cabrera must improve upon next season as it relates to his base-stealing if for him to raise his On-Base Percentage.
