Daily Friar 11.21.11

Today is a very special day. I had to go back into the archives to make sure I was right about it. I have been doing this daily post for you all for exactly one month now. It has been pretty fun finding all these Padres related stories to fill the rest of you in on news and opinions and anything that needs to be put out there. So I will continue to keep doing this and hopefully 11 months from now I can talk about one year doing this. Here are todays links:

What the new CBA really means – Websoulsurfer

“The small market teams have been all but marginalized. They will no longer have any opportunity to compete under the new rules.”

Omar Minaya coming to the Padres? – Chicken Friars (Originally broke by Dan Hayes and Corey Brock)

“Dan Hayes is reporting that the Padres have offered former Mets GM, Omar Minaya, a front office job with the club.
