Did the news of the Cody Ransom signing sink in yet? Are we now a World Series contender because of it? Sure it adds infield depth, but where is the big picture guy that we were promised? I feel your frustration Padres fans, I am as anxious as you guys to see what will happen if anything. The Padres have been rumored to be talking to people all the time, but nothing has actually happened yet. The large looming question is when will the Padres sign that big name, or at least a name that will improve our team in the coming year? I have new rumors to post, this time from viable sources like Ken Rosenthal. I also have the link to Bill Center’s weekly chat, which has an interesting tidbit about the Cody Ransom singing being a lead to something bigger.
