Daily Friar 12.7.12

Well we are back now with a new layout and new everything. But have no fear as the Friarhood will be here leading up to and through the 2013 season. With that the Daily Friar is back as well where you can get your Padres news everyday in one place. For those that are seasoned veterans to the site you will know how this post works, but for those that are new to it let me give a quick explanation.

I save you all the trouble of looking around online for Padres news by doing that work myself. Below you will find all the links that I have found for the day from various sources. Most of the time the sources will be the same, other days there will be a new source. Of course this is all dependent on who is writing about the team on any given day. We are also using a new editor for our posts, so bear with me if things look a little funky. I’m getting used to it. So without further ado, here are your Padres links for today:

MadFriars is doing a top 30 prospect list for 2013

“The best and easiest way to judge a system is does it do what it is intended to do, supply a steady supply of quality cost efficient younger players that help the team win games.”

Padres president Tom Garfinkel talks to South County – Gaslamp ball

“Padres President Tom Garfinkel spoke to more than a hundred South County officials, business owners and residents the other day as evidenced by this article in the San Diego Source.”
