Daily Friar 1.30.12

It’s Monday again. Another week of work, school, and whatever it brings to all of you. The NFL had their pointless Pro Bowl yesterday and the AFC won with the help of some Chargers. Rivers had two touchdown passes and an interception. And my favorite Charger Eric Weddle capped off a nice season with two interceptions in the game as well. This all leads up to the Super Bowl this weekend. So it could be a long week for some, short for others, but it will be one more week where we countdown the start of baseball season. Here are your Padres related links for today:

Chris Denorfia embraces his Padres role –

“The Padres took a chance on me and judged me on the merit of 2010 rather than basing their decision on what happened in the past. I have to be very thankful for them giving me the chance.”
