Daily Friar 2.25.12

It’s Saturday. That means two things are going on today. First, Steve Adler and Judson Richards are set to give you Friarhood Radio on Xtra Sports 1360. Be sure to tune in and call in to share your thoughts on what is going with the Padres right now. Also today is the first day of full squad workouts in Peoria. The entire team is there now with the exception of Jonathan Galvez, who is being held up by a visa issue that should be resolved shortly. Now that the team is working out together we will start to get a better idea of what each player is working on coming in to the new season. As you’ll see in the first article below, Logan Forsythe is working on something new. Here are your Padres links for today:

Forsythe is adding shortstop to his repertoire –

“Forsythe said he doesn’t anticipate any big hurdles in playing the position. He’s played there in the past and he believes his experience learning the second-base position will help him, especially with the plays around the bag.”
