Daily Friar 3.18.12

Daily Friar Banner Rennick

For those that were able to see the broadcast last night, I hope that you enjoyed the game. The Padres beat the Royals in fairly fine fashion (2014 World Series?). The broadcast looked a lot more polished than the channel 4 games we have been used to seeing, and ultimately I thought it was really well done. One thing Fox does well is bringing a third or even fourth person in to give us more insight into the game. So in addition to Mark Grant and Dick Enberg in the booth we had Leila Rahimi out talking to players. It was really well done. Also Mike Pomeranz and Mark Sweeney did great with the pre and post game shows. I for one can’t wait to see more broadcasts as well as a full lineup on FSSD. Here are your Padres links for today:
