Bud Black announced the pitching rotation this morning. And let me tell you there are some definite surprises there. I’m sure Corey Brock is already working on a story about it for, but for our purposes I am going to tell you who they are and post the story tomorrow if it comes up. Tim Stauffer is resting a sore right tricep, so he has been pushed way back to the 5th spot. Richard is 4th, Moseley 3rd, Luebke 2nd, which makes Edinson Volquez your opening day starter. I saw Volquez pitch last weekend and he looked awesome. Pitching in Petco will obviously help him. So congratulations to Edison Volquez, and keep an eye on twitter for more roster moves that still need to be made. Here are your Padres links for today:
