The Padres won for the second time this season yesteday. The pitching was stellar, but the offense (as usual) was not. As a team they are batting under .200. The only bright spot in the offense was Chris Denorfia’s homerun in the bottom of the 8th to give the Padres the lead, and ultimately the win. Holding the Dbacks to 1 run is no easy feet, even in Petco, so kudos to the pitching staff to holding them to that. Here are your Padres links for today:

Denorfia’s homer takes down Diamondbacks –
