Daily Friar 4.3.12

Daily Friar Banner Rennick

The Padres have two days to make 5 more cuts to the team to make it down to the 25 man roster that is required for major league teams. Yesterday 4 more cuts were made, and at this point the cuts hurt even more. One of those cut yesterday was Matt Clark who had a monster spring, and if there wasn’t a log jam at first base, would probably make this team. For more on the cuts check out the articles below. Here are your Padres links for today:

MadFriars interviews Cody Hebner
“Cody Hebner was selected in the 4th round (143rd overall) of the 2012 draft by the San Diego Padres from Green River Community College in Washington State. He passed on a scholarship to Arizona State to pitch professionally for the Padres.”
