It’s a good day to be a Padres fan! After beating the Rockies for the second time in a row last night (which already gives them the series win), they will be looking for the sweep today. If they can pull off the sweep then they will be 1 game from jumping out of the cellar. As bad as this season has gone, there are plenty of other teams who are just as bad or worse. So don’t fret too bad Padres fans. Lastly, let’s give some birthday wishes to 3 Padres. First is minor leaguer Jace Peterson. Second is current third baseman, Chase Headley. And lastly is Mr. Padre himself Tony Gwynn. All the more reason to win today with all those birthdays being celebrated. Here are your Padres links for today:
