With Cory Luebke on the shelf right now the best pitcher in the rotation is probably Edinson Volquez (or Anthony Bass). That being said, the Brewers beat up on Volquez two days ago. Then yesterday they were held pat by Andrew Cashner for a couple innings before the bullpen came in to shit things down. This was a lot different than the bullpen we saw in the last game against the Giants. Instead of everyone giving up at least run nobody gave up a run this time. It was a nice win and well deserved. It was the kind of baseball that needs to be played by this team. Here are your links for today:
