The Padres were riding high coming into this series after sweeping the Mariners. Oh how quickly that was shot down last night. All in all it was pretty embarrassing to witness. The pitching was off, and the offense wasn’t there either. The team hit 5-31 last night, and two of those hits came from Carlos Quentin. The 5-9 hitters went 1-16 collectively. That is not how the Padres will win games. We need to hit as a group and need to start hitting now. Hopefully the bats can come out today. Here are your Padres links for today:
