Daily Friar 6.24.12

Daily Friar Banner Rennick

The last time the Padres faced Felix Hernandez they put him in his place. Last night was not the case though. He got the best of us, as he should. He’s one of the best pitchers in baseball and he should be able to beat a lowly team like the Padres. We did after all have Jason Marquis pitching for us. Which, without injury wouldn’t even be on this team. I was at the game along with Steve Adler and other members of The Friarhood. So at least we had a fun time with that. But the game was a bust. Here are your Padres links for today:

Padres can’t solve King Felix –
“Hernandez’s two-run double against Padres starter Jason Marquis snapped a tie in the second inning, and gave the Mariners the lead for good in a 5-1 victory on Saturday night at Petco Park.”
