Happy draft day everyone! Alright it’s not just one day, but today is the first day of the three day draft. Day one should be exciting for all Padres fans because we have a slew of first round picks to come. This means that if we draft smartly then we could make the number one farm system in the league even better. We’re going to need a good farm system with the way the Padres are playing right now. It’s bad folks, real bad. Seems like we can win game one of a series, then just give it up in the end. Going 1-2 on a series is not going to win championships I’m afraid. It will win you the first pick in the draft the following season though. Here are your Padres links for today:
