The Padres just keep on winning. At least right now that is what they are doing. Since the All-Star break they are 6-2, which is a great record to have coming into the second half. The broadcast last night put up a standings break down since I believe June 1st, and the Padres are in first place with that. That’s right, your San Diego Padres have been the best team in the National League West for the past two months. At this rate will we make the playoffs? Highly doubtful, but at least we can play spoiler to a few teams. We already were doing that to the Dodgers after the break. And who knows, if we keep winning like this we might make it back to .500. Regardless, the rest of the season will be fun to watch if they keep playing to this caliber. Here are your Padres links for today:
