Don’t look now, but the Padres are winning series again. They haven’t lost a series since the Texas Rangers series. That only makes sense seeing as they are the best team in baseball. But since then we went 2-1 on the Mariners, tied the Astros, and 2-1 against the Rockies. Up next is the Diamondbacks, who we lost a series against last time. The only problem is we are playing at Chase Field. This of course has been notoriously a tough place for the Padres to play. And with the way the season has gone so far, I don’t expect anything to be different. But then again it plays as a hitters park, so maybe the team can keep their hitting shoes on.
