Daily Friar 7.25.12

Daily Friar Banner Rennick

Every time we play the Giants it has a playoff atmosphere to it. I get that vibe especially when we are playing in San Francisco. I don’t know if it’s the sold out crowds or what, but it feels like a playoff game every time. Those people up there live and die with every pitch it seems, they go crazy for a base hit even. But that place really exploded when Angel Pagan stole the game from the Padres. There have been some amazing catches this season (Mike Trout) and this one should be in the top 10 at least. The Padres played better last night compared to the night before, but ultimately lost to the better team. As much as I hate to admit it, the Giants are a good team. They have all the right tools to make a playoff run, which is why I think they will make it over the Dodgers. Let’s hope we can get one game in this series tonight.
