I knew this Padres team was good enough to play spoiler! Okay so yesterday’s win wasn’t enough to make a dent in the standings, but we did end a 10 game winning streak for the Reds. That’s saying something in my book, to come in to Cincinnati and shut the Reds down like that. It was a fun game to watch, but also painful at the same time. There were too many walks all around, and an ejection because of it. Also Yasmani Grandal is hurt, we’ll see how long that will take to heal up. Lastly, today is the trade deadline at 1 PM PST. The Padres haven’t made a move yet, but plenty of other teams are. Just go to your favorite rumors site and keep hitting refresh. Here are your Padres links for today:
