Happy 4th of July to you all. On America’s birthday filled with good food and fireworks, it’s only fitting that the military’s team is putting up fireworks of their own. This team that is supposed to be weak offensively is putting up some great numbers on this road trip. To put it in perspective, the Padres have hit as many homeruns on this single road trip alone (9 games so far) as they have at home all season. So maybe things are heating up for the squad. Still we are far from making a playoff run and the trade deadline is fast approaching. So you know contending teams are going to want pieces. Many execs think that Quentin and Street will be moved.
