If only the Padres could play the Pirates all season. No matter how good or bad these teams are from season to season, the Padres seem to dominate them. Last night was no different as Edinson Volquez reverted back to form and struck out 10 in route to a 3-1 victory. And with this victory the Padres are back on a winning streak after losing 5 in row to finish off that road trip that started so well in Pittsburgh. See everything comes back to the Pirates. We need to redraw the division lines and get these guys in the National League West so that we can play them more than 6-7 times a season. Of course I’m kidding, but it would be nice.
