As the old cliche goes, all good things must come to an end. Thus the Padres ran into a road block in their win streak last night. Even though Andrew Werner pitched awesome again last night, he was stuck with the tough luck loss. The tough luck was the fact that he had to go up against Kris Medlen who has been nothing short of outstanding lately. I’m hoping that Werner doesn’t get disgruntled and only look at the fact that he lost. He should look at his 6 great innings of 4 hit ball, while only giving up 2 runs. On a normal night with the normal offense we are used to seeing of late, he would have won. Here are your Padres links for today:
