The Padres played a great game last night. Things fell in favor of the squad all night, and Clayton Richard pitched an amazing game. Not to mention the bullpen held thier own as well. R.A. Dickey also pitched great, but not well enough to overcome the Swinging Friars. Carlos Quentin scored the go ahead run on a collision at the plate. It was one of those plays that would have been criticized if he was out, but praised since he scored. My personal favorite of the night was Everth Cabrera’s tying run. I loved the execution on the part of the team to get him all the way around to score. It was just perfect baseball. Here are your Padres links for today:
