Daily Friar 9.11.13

The Padres offense came alive yesterday at Citizens Bank Park behind a strong outing by Andrew Cashner. Cashner went 7 2/3 innings pitched, allowed only 4 hits, 2 runs, and one walk while striking out seven. The offense provided more than enough run support as the Padres came out on top 8-2. Today, the Pads send Eric Stults to the mound to face fellow southpaw Cliff Lee of the Phillies. Make sure to tune in at 4:05 PT. Oh yeah, and Go Padres!
