Maybe there is life in the Padres offense after all. After a week of scoring no more than 4 runs in a game, the Padres put up 7 last night on the heels of their best run producer. Chase Headley hit his 30th home run of the year and pushed his RBI total up to 112, which ties him with Ryan Braun for the NL lead. Those two have gone back and forth all month and will most likely come down to the final game to see who will take that title. In other MLB news, Miguel Cabrera of the Tigers continues to close in on the triple crown. He is leading the American League in AVG and RBIs, but he is tied with Josh Hamilton for home runs.
