How is this progressing? I know Hundley was working on his footwork last year but he still only threw out 20% of base stealers. Blanco threw out 40% which was certainly something to look out for if you think about running. Alfonzo wasn't so bad either, of course he was awful at the plate. With all this talk about our staff and it being improved, I still have a hard time trying to stomach the thought of guys like Dexter Fowler and Matt Kemp just running at will against us on the basepaths again this season. Do we have any hope in this department this year? And how much time do you think Hundley has to prove his worth?

I think this is part of the reason we did not look for a veteran catcher so far. I believe Ryan through out 40% or more of runners last year in the minors. I hope Nick gets better, but I think Dusty Ryan has promise with a big arm behind the plate if he can learn to call a game (Some hitting potential as well).

What I loved last-night at the "open house", was Buddy saying, there is no doubt that Hundley can be a solid MLB catcher, I will take the lefties word on that, Nick is a workaholic, the guy is a machine!

Ok, am I looking at the STATs right?
Hundley was only 10% behind the NL leader and t9 in the NL?
Bals needs to get the pitchers on top of that too.

What the Benito Santiago is going on here!? This team needs to win with Pitching, speed and defense. At some point the need to get a catch and throw guy that hits .230 with a little pop and stops guys from running around like a track meet.
