I just heard that the Rockies released him. He has had a down year, but he has put up some nice numbers, including an all-star appearance. Though the Padres have an abundance of out-fielders, would he be up for consideration?

With what we have right now, I don't see it happening. The only way I'd see the Pads going for it would be after the roster expansion and then he'd be a fill player. Deno is playing lights out right now, Luddy won't be on the bench. Venable needs to pick up the pace a little.
