Buster Olney is reporting that the Mets are close to signing Chris Young. It would seem like a good fit for CY and the Mets, but not for Jed.

nah, its fine for us. Its not like we need CY.... when you go on to win majority of the season w/o him and then not go to the playoffs even with him on board, its time to let go and move on w/o a injury prone player like CY.

I wish him the best and just like Garland.... gl and thanks for playing for the Padres.

But I for one will not look at the past and dwell on this since he will not be a big help for us if we are building a different team which i think Jed is doing quite nicely so far.

To win, get rid of the fat.
