At the Padres town hall meeting it was announced that a Bud Black bobblehead will be given away this season.
I'm not a huge bobblehead fan to be honest, but I know some fans just go ape $h*t over these things, so I thought it would be fun to speculate on this years.
The Padres tried to go safe last season, giving away Eckstein early and then going young with the other four.
Eckstein
Richard
Headley
Blanks
Cabrera
If I had to guess which five they make this season it will be...
Black
Latos
Hudson
Gregerson
Hoffman

So we ended up with Black, Bell, Hudson, and Latos. Interesting that they went with four. I thought we would see a Hoffman.

Let's just hope that they have bobbleheads of guys who are actually ON the team. I think Blanks was already on the DL when his came out, and E-Cab was back in Portland. Correct me if I'm wrong.
As far as Hoffman...he doesn't need a bobblehead. He needs a big "51" sitting out on the batter's eye alongside #6, #19, #35 etc.
