So the 2011 Spring Training Cactus League is about to open for business and as a dedicated San Diego Padres, and baseball fan in general, I am taking my talents to Phoenix to enjoy some fresh baseball. Who all is going? When are you going? Do you have any of your own back-roads tips for Phoenix traffic, best BBQ place, best Mexican food place, things the travelers need to know.
I am slated to go March 18,19,20 and hope to enjoy my time in the Phoenix sun.

St. Patricks day over at Tempe Beach with Flogging Molly.

After years of our crew going the hotel route and going out for meals, this year we rented a house and will be doing more chillin and grillin poolside.

My BBQ recommendation, Honey Bears. Mexican food, well not sure there. Traffic, it sucks all the time in Phoenix but at least they got rid of those radar traps on the freeway.
