Ran into the all knowing and great Mr. Peter Gammons last weekend in Peoria at the Padres complex. I got his autograph and also spoke to him for a few minutes. Got his thoughts on our team. He like me believes Cameron Maybin has the potential and is going to be key to our season. If he hits 6th in the lineup and provides some clutch pop and good baserunner management with his bat we could be in line for a good lineup.
Projected lineup for my thoughts on 3/31

1. Venable
2. Hudson
3. Ludwick
4. Headley
5. Hawpe
6. Maybin
7. Bartlett
8. Hundley
9. Stauffer

If you get a couple guys on, we're gonna be more clutch than the hairston pop ups, the khalil pop ups, the kouz pop ups. I feel a good clutch season coming up. Nobody is above this team. It is a group unlike St. Louis where all you have is albert to lean on.
