I think Jed should do exactly what it appears he is doing. Be patient and wait for a couple of contenders, who are desperate for a proven closer, to make offers. Heath should be traded, but if he keeps pitching effectively, his trade value will go up as we move toward July. Then, trade him for a proven bat (or two).
I imagine St. Louis, Texas, or Philly will be interested. They have a chance to win the World Series this year, and they're going to want Heath to join them for the late-season and post-season.
