Now that Kouz is going to be paid like an everyday player what does the team do?

Honestly I do not see why people like Kouz that much. He was really bad from beginning of the season up until mid-June in 2009. His SO is really high. .255 BA isn't going to impress anybody. .302 OBP is dismal. Only good thing is that he showed he has the potential to be a good batter the last 2 years, but so far he didn't impress me. His defence is pretty good though, but I would like Headley in 3B more and not being in the OF letting balls fly over his head

Why, what does Headley bring to the table that Kouz does not? It's not like he has a high batting average and so far he has not shown Kouz's power or RBI ability and I doubt he will top the year in the field that Kevin had... so why do you want Kouz out of here and Headley at 3rd..

His slow starts are frustrating, but, I will take him and his defense. He ended the year with decent numbers and didn't lead the team in SOs. Headley had more errors at 3rd and more SOs.

If you read my piece on the Padres 3B I'm sure you know I like Kouz, but we know what we have in the guy. It's time we see what Headley has to offer before Forsythe and Darnell are ready.
